Where to for breakfast?

From the opposite side of the pond comes another option for breakfast—Portage Bay Cafe. The organic caterer and restaurateur is opening another location next month in South Lake Union, on the first floor of Vulcan's Westlake/Terry building, the P-I reports. It's a good move for Portage Bay as they had outgrown their existing space, and great news to any SLU residents that enjoy an exceptional breakfast. They will keep the menu and the limited hours (7:30-3:00pm M-F, 8:00-3:00pm Sat & Sun) the same as the original. Might I suggest the pancakes with the breakfast bar, yum.

Breakfast Bonus:
Just Pay Half at Southlake Grill and Paddy Coyne's—receive 2 $25 gift certificates for $25 while supplies last.

Or 2 courses for $25 at 13 Coins, open 24 hours.

Paddy Coyne's Pandemonium

It's St. Patty's Day and Paddy Coyne's Irish Pub is the place to be in South Lake Union. So far the party is contained to the inside, but once everyone's had enough whiskey that's likely to change. Boozers beware, they are charging a $10 cover.

You can find a different sort of crowd a block away at Southlake Grill, where they are advertising no cover and $4 Guinness and Bushmills.
