Byron Vannoy’s Meridian is a local jazz fusion group featuring drummer Byron Vannoy and several other talented artists including Chris Symer on bass, Kacey Evans on the keyboard, Chris Spencer on guitar and Eric Barber on saxophones.
Meridian won the 2008 Golden Ear Award for NW Recording of the Year presented by Earshot Jazz.
They will be featured at tomorrow's free SLU Summer Concert Series. Byron Vannoy's Meridian will perform two 45-minute sets beginning at 11:45 A.M. this Friday, July 31 on the upper plaza at 2200 (corner of Westlake Ave. and Denny Way, above Whole Foods Market).
