Got an idea for a public art project or want to reclaim public space for a day? It's not quite a Bell Street Park, but you can take over a parking space on September 18 for PARK(ing) Day 2009!

PhinneyWood brought my attention to the free Training Seminar for PARK(ing) Day at the Armory next Thursday. The Feet First website mentions that participation in the September 18 event "takes a little bit of planning" and they want to help you out.

The session will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, at the Officer’s Club (upstairs northeast corner) in the Armory at Lake Union Park, 860 Terry Ave N.
