This year, the folks who organize the SLU Block Party have decided to leave the decision on which outdoor movie to screen up to us. From July 9–23, anyone can visit the Seattle Times' web site and vote for Waiting for Guffman (rated R), Footloose (rated R) or Raising Arizona (rated PG-13). The movie with the most votes will play just after dusk (approx. 9:00—9:30 PM) to cap off the Block Party festivities on August 7.
To vote, visit http://www.seattletimes.com/slublockparty. The winner will be announced on the Block Party web site at http://www.slublockparty.com on July 24.
