Real Estate Wrap-Up

Just in time for its July 8th opening, Cascade Senior Housing has a new name. The building will be known as The Bart Harvey, in honor of F. Barton Harvey III, former chief executive of Enterprise Community Partners.

Grand opening festivities start at 3:30 pm featuring Harvey, Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels, current Enterprise President and Chief Executive Doris Koo, project architect Michele Wang and Low Income Housing Institute Executive Director Sharon Lee.

Borealis Apartments, a workforce housing project by Vulcan Real Estate, received a Gold Nugget Award for "Outstanding Affordable Housing Project" at last week's Pacific Coast Builders Conference. Judges gave Borealis props for its modern yet sustainable design elements.

Over on Eastlake, plans for a high-end townhouse development on 5 acres of lakefront property have been announced. The marketing types have decided to call it "The Enclave"—how very exclusive sounding. More in the P-I.
