Mysterious Signage in Cascade

Update: The sign has been identified by multiple sources as a "Poobah Crossing", which last time I checked is not an official SDOT street sign. So what's the deal? The sign seems to be a bit of monkey business by new South Lake Union arts group Magilla.Art (yes, like the cartoon ). It's safe to say this won't be the last we're left scratching our heads as Magilla.Art has started to meet every Thursday evening at Cascade Park to "make art and fool around".

We've all become familiar with the S.L.U.T. crossing signs, but there's something new to look out for before crossing the street. This sign was spotted at the corner of Thomas and Pontius across from Southlake Grill.

What could it be, I wonder? If you happen to see this mysterious creature meandering about the neighborhood – perhaps on its way to the local watering hole – be sure to snap a picture and send it in.

Looks like Sheriff/Police crossing. Never seen that type of sign before, but maybe there's a police station nearby?
