The CNC receives funding for a Farmers Market

The Cascade Neighborhood Council has received a Small and Simple grant for $6,350. The Department of Neighborhoods grant was 1 of 37 granted from a competitive field of 74 applications. There are more meetings for coordination with DON, SDOT, Parks, Health Department, Pike Place Market Express and SLU Chamber for the final details before the scheduled opening day of June 25, 2009.

Note from the editor:The Cascade Farmers Market has won yet another grant! It looks like we're on for an opening day of Thursday, June 25, and every Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm until September 24 right across the street from Cascade Playground on Pontius Ave.
