Napa Auto Parts closed for business

Napa Auto Parts on Westlake and Harrison has closed up shop for good.

Fellow neighblogger jseattle tipped us off to the first signs of trouble when he noticed–much to his chagrin–that they had begun to close on Sunday.

Westlake Ave is no longer the bustling auto row it once was, which, along with the economy, likely led to the store's demise. There are still some remnants of Westlake's past, including the Firestone across the street and the old Pacific and Ford McKay auto showrooms that will soon be part of an office building.

Unlike the nearby Busy Body Fitness store which also went out of business this month, Napa is still an ongoing concern. The sign on the door now points you to their other locations to satisfy of all your car part needs.

Meh...
Napa's kind of a crap auto parts place anyway. I recommend the place on Stone Way at 44th. Great prices.

There's also this place on 13th, on the hill: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&vi,-122.279892&sspn=0.113434,0.30899&gl=us&ie=UTF8&ll=47.621612,-122.315941&spn=0.028347,0.077248&z=14&iwloc=A. Only been in once, but hey... It's there.
