New Eating Options in Cascade

In case the current South Lake Union fare is growing stale on your tastebuds, a couple of new restaurants are stepping up the freshness.

Soup Daddy Soups
, a long-time Pioneer Square mainstay, has taken up shop in the old Seattle Times cafeteria on Fairview. Click here to check out their menu.

Zaw Pizza
, a fresh take on take-and-bake, just opened their first store on Capitol Hill is coming soon to a space next to the Cairns apartments. Once open, this joint should provide a welcome alternative to Mad Pizza, though it seems it will be no less expensive.

What other kind of restaurants would you like to see in the 'hood?

I'd like to see more sandwichy places. Good ol' bakery style.

On the weekend it'd be great to go get a fresh sandwich on homemade bread and take it down to Lake Union Park. Subway doesn't count. :)

Crazy Chipotle gal here! I'd like to see a Chipotle, Thai food restaurant (we love Racha), and sushi.
